From friendship to firm
Avalon Advisory wasn’t born out of a boardroom — it started with a friendship.
Nicki and Falk met during their studies in the UK. Since then, their paths have crossed again and again: working in different companies, industries, and countries — but always sharing ideas, values, and a common vision.
After years of exchanging thoughts on deals, strategy, and the future of entrepreneurship, they decided to join forces.
Avalon Advisory is the result: an M&A firm rooted in trust, built on decades of shared experience, and driven by the belief that the best business decisions are also personal.
Today, that same spirit of partnership shapes everything we do — with each other, with our team, and with our clients.
NICKI LANGE
Nicki is Managing Partner at Avalon Advisory, where he focuses on strategic positioning, the development of cohesive equity stories, and building strong investor relationships.
Before co-founding Avalon, he worked at Lincoln International, advising on M&A transactions in the consumer and technology sectors. He also co-founded Alchemist, an IT services provider, and later managed the real estate portfolio of the Lange Family Office, where he developed the overarching investment strategy.
Nicki studied at Hult International Business School in London and at IE Business School in Madrid. He speaks German, English, Spanish, and French.
Outside of work, Nicki is an ultra-distance runner — having completed endurance events like the Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc, the Marathon des Sables, and The Speed Project. His passion for running has led him to work with and create content for leading brands across sport, fashion, and media.
FALK EWALDSEN
Falk is Managing Partner at Avalon Advisory, where he leads project execution and provides tactical advice across the full transaction cycle — from preparation to close.
Over the past years, he has successfully executed numerous M&A transactions, with a focus on healthcare, technology, and industrial sectors. His professional background includes roles at Al Ramz Capital, Commerzbank, DC Advisory, and Transfer Partners.
Beyond Avalon, Falk is the founder of GP 249 — a fast-growing platform for automotive enthusiasts and marketing innovation. Through GP 249, he works with leading OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers such as Porsche and Bilstein, while organizing community-driven motorsport events across Europe’s most iconic racetracks.
Falk studied at Hult International Business School in London and is fluent in German, English, and French.
