History
Avalon was started by entrepreneurs who spent a decade founding, building and advising businesses. Our foundation of strategic advising is balanced by experience and know-how. It is a combination that allows us to drive significant value for our clients and partners.

Nicki Lange

Nicki is Managing Partner at Avalon Advisory, where he focuses on strategic positioning, the development of cohesive equity stories, and building strong investor relationships.

Before co-founding Avalon, he worked at Lincoln International, advising on M&A transactions in the consumer and technology sectors. He also co-founded Alchemist, an IT services provider, and later managed the real estate portfolio of the Lange Family Office, where he developed the overarching investment strategy.

Nicki studied at Hult International Business School in London and at IE Business School in Madrid. He speaks German, English, Spanish, and French.

Outside of work, Nicki is an ultra-distance runner — having completed endurance events like the Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc, the Marathon des Sables, and The Speed Project. His passion for running has led him to work with and create content for leading brands across sport, fashion, and media.

Falk Ewaldsen

Falk is Managing Partner at Avalon, where he focuses on project execution and developing strategies that maximise transaction outcomes.

He has worked for Al Ramz Capital, Commerzbank, DC Advisory and Transfer Partners, successfully leading numerous M&A projects with a focus on the healthcare, technology and consumer sectors.

Falk is also the founder of GP Days, a pan-European motorsport and automotive community platform. After scaling the business in partnership with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers such as Bilstein and various manufacturers, he executed a majority sale of the company to the Piëch Family Office. His own Exit gives him a unique perspective that few advisors possess — having personally built, grown and sold a business himself.

He studied at Hult International Business School in London and speaks German, English and French.
