Essen, 19 December 2025 – Avalon Advisory GmbH has successfully advised 43einhalb GmbH (“43einhalb”), one of Germany’s leading retailers for sneakers and streetwear, on The Platform Group AG (“TPG”) joining as a strategic investor.

As part of the transaction, TPG acquired a majority stake in 43einhalb. The partnership represents an important milestone in the further development of the company and lays the foundation for the next phase of growth. The parties have agreed not to disclose the financial details of the transaction.

43einhalb is one of the most relevant curated sneaker and streetwear platforms in the German-speaking region. Since its foundation in 2011, the company, based in Fulda, has established itself as a fixture in the premium segment – with a clear positioning at the intersection of sneaker culture, fashion and community. As a strategic retail partner, 43einhalb enjoys top-tier access to international brands such as Nike, Adidas, Autry and other leading brands, providing access to limited releases, exclusive collections and premium assortments. The platform combines curated e-commerce with editorial standards, a strong brand identity and a loyal community.

With TPG, 43einhalb gains an experienced platform operator that combines technological infrastructure, operational scaling and long-term growth strategy. The aim of the partnership is to further strengthen 43einhalb’s market position in the European premium sneaker and fashion segment and to structurally scale the platform for sustainable growth.
