Avalon Advisory advises Two Sides on the expansion of its strategic partnership with Sony Music Entertainment GSA
Essen, 08 May 2026 – Avalon Advisory GmbH has successfully advised Two Sides GmbH and TWOSIDES MGMT GmbH (“Two Sides”), one of the most influential independent music companies in the German-speaking market, on the expansion of its strategic partnership with Sony Music Entertainment GSA (“Sony Music”).
The expanded partnership marks the next stage in the long-standing collaboration between Two Sides and Sony Music. Since the foundation of Two Sides in 2017, the companies have already been closely connected through a joint venture with Four Music, a Sony Music label. Through the expanded partnership, both parties will further strengthen their collaboration across artist development, creative talent management and repertoire strategy. The financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
Founded by Lucas Teuchner and Julian Otto (aka Bausa), Two Sides has evolved from an independent label into one of the most relevant creative platforms within German rap and hip-hop. The broader Two Sides network includes Feder Musik (Apache 207), 6PM Records, Bipolar, as well as artists such as reezy, SIRA, Bausa, Levin, Miksu / Macloud and other defining names within the scene.
As part of the expanded partnership, Lucas Teuchner will also take on a broader advisory role within Sony Music Entertainment GSA, with a particular focus on creative talent development and repertoire strategy across the region. At the same time, Two Sides will continue to operate independently as a label and management platform.
The partnership combines the creative identity and cultural relevance of Two Sides with Sony Music’s international infrastructure and global reach. The aim is to further develop artists and creative projects over the long term while creating new growth and development opportunities across German-speaking and international markets.
Avalon Advisory acted as exclusive M&A advisor to Two Sides and supported the shareholders throughout the entire process. The advisory approach included the strategic preparation and positioning of the company, the structuring of the process as well as support during negotiations through to the successful signing of the agreement.
